AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF GREEN SPACES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS ON THE MENTAL HEALTH OF RESIDENTS UNDER COVID-19

As one of the frequently used green spaces urban residents, residential have a positive effect on people’s mental health status. In order to understand impact citizens’ during COVID-19 epidemic, this study collected sociodemographic data 556 residents from 15 communities in Hefei New Municipal and Culture District, Anhui Province, China March, 2020 through online questionnaires, then adopted Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10 Scale) evaluate residents’ status, GIMP Grid quantify view index outside windows. Besides, multiple linear regression model was explore correlations between The findings show that coverage ratio, satisfaction landscapes space, window, viewing duration effects verifies benefits promoting resident’s status under COVID-19, providing scientific guidance for future practice construction.
